GenCare provides powerful tools to help individuals and families navigate life's most important transitions. We work with our clients, whether working, retired, or managing chronic illness, to live intentionally, set new goals, and find purpose and meaning. Life is more than surviving and we are here to help you thrive!
We Will Make A Specialized Plan for You
With a wholistic approach to mental health, we focus on improving overall quality of life. Success cannot exist without self-care. Healing from trauma, forming positive habits, learning to set boundaries, and understanding your unique strengths and challenges will help you create a blueprint for success.
Strategies That Work
We have spent many years working with neurodivergent individuals, and we know how to provide the support and care needed when you struggle with neurological differences. Rather than a one size fits all approach, we often use neuropsychological testing to create a unique plan for you!
Neuropsychological Testing
Neuropsychological testing can help identify your unique strengths and challenges and ensure your success. Do you need accommodations at school or at work? Are you having trouble with memory, attention, or concentration? Are your ADHD meds working? We can help!
Care for Caregivers & Helping Professionals
Are you caring for a family member? Are you a doctor, nurse, or helping professional experiencing burnout? Have you made time for self-care, recreation, relaxation, and relationships? We can help you achieve the balance you need to avoid or recover from burnout.
Smart Automation Tools
Sometimes you need some help organizing your bills, business, calendar and domestic tasks so you can stay on top of everything. We can help! Whether you are a busy Executive or someone who struggles with Executive Functioning, we can help you put systems in place to manage your daily activities.

Medical Model
The medical model views disability as a defect within the individual, an aberration compared to normal traits and characteristics. In order to have a high quality of life, these defects must be cured, fixed, or completely eliminated. As a result of this approach, many individuals have lower self-esteem because they are being told that a central piece of their personhood is wrong and needs to be fixed.
Social Model
In this model, disability is the inability to participate fully in home and community life and the issue is the physical and social barriers to full participation. The focus of treatment is to enhance the ability to function in society through accommodations and support, not by eliminating natural variations. As a result, each individual can be valued and empowered to create their best life.
You are not defective, and our goal is not to fix you. We will help you identify strengths, learn new skills, and help you create your best life step-by-step.
“When a flower doesn't bloom, you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower.”
--Alexander
Den Heijer
“When I was little, like Maleficent, I was told I was different. And I felt out of place and too loud, too full of fire, never good at sitting still, never good at fitting in. And then one day I realized... Different is good. When someone tells you that you are different, smile, and hold your head up and be proud.”
--Angelina Jolie
“You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream."
--C.S. Lewis
